The programme of events starts at 10.50am and continues until 2.30pm.
The actual parade of the reindeer starts in the market place at 12.00 noon but there are plenty of other things going on for all the family to enjoy through the day.
10.50 Opening ..
.. and presentation of children’s prizes by The Mayor of Wells, Councillor Alison Gibson, her Consort, Mr Steven Luck and the President of Wells Rotary Club, Andy Coulson
11.15 - 11.45 Joyful Spirit Gospel Choir
12.00 Procession of Reindeer..
and prize winners, led by the Wells City Band and the Town Crier Len Swales, starts at the Market Place, proceeds down the High Street, returning via Queen Street and the High Street back to the Market Place by about 12.45
12.15-12.45pm While the reindeer process down the High Street, stay in the Market Place and be entertained by our lovely “Cantabile Ladies Choir”
12.45-1.15pm “Ben and Jerry” - ...a musical duo
1.15-1.45pm The Pete Wagstaff Band
1.45-2.15pm Wells Cathedral Choristers [girls and boys]directed by Matthew Owens.
